Apart
from what might be contained in WO345, a Japanese index captured by the Allies
at the end of the Second World War which contains cards for British, Indian and
Australian servicemen and WO367 "Japanese Registers of Allied POWs and Civilian
internees held in camps in Singapore", held in the Public Record Office in
London, there are no other known records of South African POWs.
Our database
contains the name of just one South African.
